You can match with people who live near your area or within your preferred age range, though the age filter is a paywalled feature.
When matching up with strangers, do exercise caution as there are scammers and catfishers lurking in Meete - Chat & Rencontres. There are bots, too, which makes it harder for users to find real people to talk to.
Chat with anyone
Meeting people on chatting apps like Meete - Chat & Rencontres can be a rewarding experience—that is, if you can weed out all the bad apples. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked to provide your gender, name, birthday, and many more. You can also input your invitation code, or even record an audio self-introduction. The latter can include details about your hobbies, personal values, and your likes and dislikes.
Moreover, the app will ask you to upload several photos—preferably selfies—for getting better matches. After that, you’ll now be able to match with strangers near you or with new users. Also, the age and distance filters require payment, which is a letdown since these features help you find the right match.

One example is the need for gems for sending messages to strangers. The age and gender filters are paywalled, too. Of course, there are going to be catfishers and bots so users need to be careful with who they meet online.
